Use the Pilot app

From wallet to your first agent trade

The Pilot app is the trading harness with a UI. Logged-out visitors can explore a simulated demo (fixture data, recorded device screens, no signing). Real use needs a wallet.

Onboarding

Basic setup gets you a working research chat. The trading track is optional and adds delegated execution.

Wallet

Connect GemWallet (the default), Crossmark, or a Ledger. Pilot asks you to sign a non-broadcast sign-in challenge (an AccountSet with Fee "0" and memo pilot-wallet-auth-v1). It proves you control the account and is never submitted. Your wallet session lasts up to 60 minutes.

AI model

Sign in with OpenRouter (OAuth with PKCE) and pick a model, or use Amazon Bedrock if your deployment enables it. See OpenRouter.

Done: research is ready

You can now chat, open Markets, Map, Portfolio, Memory and Backtests. Nothing so far can move funds.

Fund (trading track)

Prepare the budget account. Your wallet signs an RLUSD TrustSet. On Testnet, the local dev-acquisition path can also buy exactly 75 official Testnet RLUSD with a fill-or-kill order.

Delegate

Approve seven narrow permissions. Your wallet signs a DelegateSet granting the engine's delegate account: OfferCreate, OfferCancel, TrustSet, AMMDeposit, AMMWithdraw, EscrowFinish, CheckCash. The delegate pays its own fees.

Verify and mandate (optional)

Verify a bounded budget (Mastercard Open Finance, mock by default) and approve the autonomous mandate for agentic payments. See Mastercard.

Trading

The final step reads Your testnet trading setup is active. You can now ask the agent to act.

Your first trade

Type in chat:

Swap 10 XRP to RLUSD with at most 1% slippage.

You will see an intent card move through drafting → planned → simulated → policy_checked, then either:

  • executing → submitted → validated if it is under your auto-execute threshold, or
  • awaiting_approval, with a button to sign the exact transaction in your wallet.

Each card carries a trust receipt: which model proposed it, whether untrusted text was screened, who signed, which RPC route was used and how it was confirmed.

Pages in the app

PageWhat it is for
Chat (/chat)Ask, research, propose intents, approve.
Markets (/markets)Live pair data read from public XRPL nodes in your browser; market analytics.
Map (/map)The venue catalog as an ecosystem map.
Portfolio (/portfolio)Balances, trust lines, delegation status and revoke.
Memory (/memory)Your vault: notes, policy editor, preferences and workflow lessons to accept, correct or forget.
Backtests (/research/backtests)Research-only daily-bar backtests on XRP/USD.
Research lab (/strategy-research)Simulation of strategy behavior over ledger observations.
Strategy (/strategy)Draft, authorize, pause and kill declarative strategies.
Integrations (/integrations/*)Plain-language explainers for Ledger, AWS, QuickNode and Mastercard.

Revoke at any time

Portfolio → Revoke. The engine prepares an empty-permission DelegateSet; you sign it. Execution stops immediately, and revocation is complete once the ledger validates it.
